Merry (Texas) Christmas, Y’alls

This year I’ve decided to do it a little different from the previous years and not do a picture and a Christmas greeting of my own, but have the band Asleep at the Wheel with their upbeat song wish you a Merry Christmas:

A Merry Christmas to all my followers!

Ein frohes Weinhachstfest allen meinen Lesern!

  6. LOL! I’ve never heard that before how fun!

Merry Christmas to you and Mary!

  7. You never can go wrong with Asleep at the Wheel. The only thing better than listening to them is dancing to them — Gruene Hall, here we come! May all your days be sunny and bright, both at Christmas and through the year!

    • It’s my favourite Country & Western band. But as I’m not a great dancer at all, I prefer listening to them. 😉 It’s also better for my dancing partner’s feet! 😀
I justy looked up yheir schedule: I’m sorry I’ll miss them in Luckenbach on January 26 because I’ll be in Germany then. 😦
May all your days be sunny and bright, both at Christmas and through the year to you, too.

  8. Cheers and happy holidays to you, Pit. 🙂

Freue mich aufs Wiederlesen!

    LG Michèle

  11. Frohe Weihnachten, Pit!
    Habt eine schöne Zeit!

  12. Merry Christmas to you and wishes for peace and prosperity in the New Year!

  13. Yule, y’all, you’ll have said in your title, from northern to southern English. And now may the rain reign in central Texas. Happy impending 2019.

    • Thanks, Steve. We di some good rain here last night. How was it for you? Hopefully no storm damage.

      • No damage here, just several hours of lightning, thunder, and rain. According to local television, the 3 2/3 inches of rain in northwest Austin, where we live, was the second highest in the area. It prompted me to go out this morning to take photographic advantage of a now-heavy-flowing waterfall three miles from home.

  14. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you!!!

  15. Alles Gute für 2019, lieber Pit 🙂

      Pit

  17. Genieße die Zeit, Pit 🙂

  18. Hi Pit,
is everything fine with you? Somehow you „vanished“ from the blog world and I am starting to worry!
I am writing this here in the comments department, as I did not find an email/impressum!
    Regards and take care,
    Christa

    • Hi Christa,
Yes, everything is fine with me. Thanks for asking. It’s true, for some time now I have vanished from “Bloghausen”. I’m still following and reading blogs, but not commenting. Only leaving “likes” as a sign that I’m still following.
My “blog rertirement” started when I was in Germany for nearly all of January [for routine doctors’ visits], and as continued here then, after my return. But I’m certain it wil not be permanent. Just now, I’m spending much of my time reading. and I’m enjoying that.
As to my email: you can find it in my (full) profile with my gravatar. Maybe I should, at some time, create an impressum page. But anyway: we did get in contact here.
Have a great time, and stay warm there up north,
      Pit
P.S.: I’m happy to say that all the results of the examinations were fine.
